IP Notice & Copyright — WealthSignal

1. Copyright Notice

All content, software, and materials on the WealthSignal platform, website, and all associated services are protected by United States and international intellectual property laws, including but not limited to the Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 101 et seq.), the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), the Lanham Act, and applicable trade secret laws.

2. Intellectual Property Ownership

WealthSignal exclusively owns all right, title, and interest in and to the following intellectual property:

2.1 Platform Software

The WealthSignal platform, including all source code, compiled code, APIs, databases, data structures, and software architectures. This encompasses our web application, backend services, data processing pipelines, and all software components that together constitute the WealthSignal service.

2.2 Trading Algorithms & Strategies

All proprietary algorithmic trading models, signal generation methods, strategy logic, backtesting frameworks, risk management systems, and portfolio optimization techniques developed by or for WealthSignal. These constitute valuable trade secrets and are protected by both copyright and trade secret law.

Our trading algorithms and strategy logic are proprietary trade secrets. Any attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or replicate these algorithms is a violation of our intellectual property rights and applicable law.

2.3 UI/UX Design

The visual design, user interface layout, user experience flows, graphic elements, icons, color schemes, typography selections, animations, and overall aesthetic of the WealthSignal platform are original creative works protected by copyright.

2.4 Branding & Trademarks

The WealthSignal name, logo (the upward triangle ▲ mark), taglines, and all associated brand elements are trademarks and service marks of WealthSignal. These marks may not be used without our prior written consent.

2.5 Content & Documentation

All written content, help documentation, blog posts, marketing materials, tutorials, videos, and other media published by WealthSignal are protected by copyright. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution is prohibited.

2.6 Data Compilations

Our databases, data compilations, platform metrics, and analytics are protected as copyrighted works and/or under database protection laws. Our selection, arrangement, and organization of data constitutes original authorship.

3. Restrictions on Use

Except as expressly permitted by these Terms, you may not:

Copy, reproduce, distribute, or transmit any part of the Platform or its content
Create derivative works based on the Platform's code, design, or algorithms
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any software component of the Platform
Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
Use WealthSignal's name, logos, or trademarks in any marketing or promotional materials
Scrape, harvest, or extract data from the Platform for commercial purposes
Build a competing product using WealthSignal's intellectual property

4. User-Provided Content

You retain ownership of any content you create and provide to the Platform (such as custom strategy parameters or notes). By submitting content, you grant WealthSignal a limited, non-exclusive license to use that content solely to provide the services you've requested.

WealthSignal does not claim ownership of your personal trading data or account information. Your data is governed by our Privacy Policy.

5. Open Source Components

The WealthSignal platform may incorporate open-source software components. Where required by the applicable open-source licenses, we provide attribution and comply with license terms. The use of open-source components does not affect WealthSignal's proprietary rights in our original code.

6. DMCA Takedown Process

WealthSignal respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of our platform to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), we will respond to valid notices of copyright infringement.

📃 How to Submit a DMCA Notice

If you believe that content on the WealthSignal Platform infringes your copyright, please send a written notice containing ALL of the following elements to our Designated Copyright Agent:

Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
Identification of the infringing material on our Platform and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate it (e.g., URL)
Your contact information: name, address, telephone number, and email address
A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
Your physical or electronic signature

6.1 Counter-Notices

If you believe material was removed from our Platform in error, you may submit a counter-notice to our Designated Copyright Agent containing: (a) your physical or electronic signature; (b) identification of the removed material and its previous location; (c) a statement under penalty of perjury that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification; and (d) your name, address, phone number, and consent to federal court jurisdiction.

6.2 Repeat Infringers

WealthSignal reserves the right to terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers of intellectual property rights.
